Verstilling
Happy to share my graphic novel installation ‘Verstilling’ that was on view at the event Alle Zielen at Abdij van Berne in Heeswijk-Dinther.
‘Verstilling’ emerged from a desire to make silent loss visible. The work is rooted in my personal experiences as a child and unfolds as a visual journey through my grieving process. Loss changes over time—it moves with you and surfaces in its own rhythm. I wanted to work with transparency, because the mourning process is not linear. I am happy how it turned out and that I could work on this scale.
